Big package in the mail!

5/2/11 Monday
Aunty Cindy came to pick Jewel, Raven and I up to go to the horses.
We live in a dry dessert region of the island, but as we drove further south the rain came down until it became just a sheet of water.  The roads started flooding and we could barely see, thunder and lightning were accompanying the down pour and I must say it was exciting, I was thankful that we were not driving in my little car!
No riding the horse today.
Raven and Cindy fed the horses and the goats in the rain and off we left.

Jewel was in her stander for 1hr 45min today.
A Big package arrived in the mail today, ...
guess what it was, ... Yes the KidWalk by Prime Engineering.  The Mitzvah blessing for Jewel from Aunty Marian and Uncle Gil.  Thank you!!
Whoop!
We have not opened it, we are looking to find a therapist fast, so we can get Jewel started!!!
Banana bread muffins fresh from the oven, another gift, Jewel you are truly blessed my sweet!
Raven is marinating the chicken so I better go and help her prepare dinner.
I have a fantasy; I would like to start a therapy center.  The government would pay the rent of the center and it does not have to be fancy.  They will also pay for the therapists.  The center would be free of charge for those who can not pay, or a sliding scale for those who can pay a little.  This way all the children and people who need care would get it and the equipment would be made available to each child.  This way they would progress at a rate that would benefit their needs.  No one gets turned away.

I am happy for all of Jewel's gains and help and I wish all children all over the world would have the same opportunities to help when and where they need it.  I see some people are logging in to read from far away places.  I wish you have all the help that the children in America, Canada and England get.   Please look into the Shriners Children's Hospital for help for your child.  They can help with surgery, wheel chairs and braces.  Blessings to you from my heart to yours xxx
